A Charity event in aid of children with special educational needs
This fun event for the whole family is the perfect way to herald in the start of spring while you support our charity and make a difference in the lives of children with learning disabilities.
RACE RULES: The race is run according to the rules of ASA and WPA. Details are available here
Date: Saturday, 6th of September 2025
Venue: Jan Kriel School, Kuilsrivier
Medals: All finishers will receive a Tekkie Challenge medal
10km Battle of the Sexes: Overall winner receives a R500 BONUS PRIZE
Registration: Race packs can be collected Friday 5 Sept 2025 14h00-18h00 & Saturday 6 Sept 2025 06h00 until 15min prior to start.
Starting times:
- 10 miler: 07:30
- 10 km Battle of the Sexes: 07:45 (Men will start after the Women - men's start time determined on race day.)
- 5 km Family Fun Run: 08:00
Prize-giving: Prize-giving starts at 10:00 for the 5 km & 10 km and 10:15 for the 10 miler.
Lucky Draw: Place your tear-off slip in the box at the prize giving stage

EVENT ENTRANCE: Follow directions from Amandel Road to the entrance for parking. Come early to avoid traffic delays at entrance gate. Gate opens at 05:30. Skool and Church streets will be closed for race start.
