The race is sponsored by The Constantia Valley Vineyards, Vivobarefoot and Sportsman's Warehouse and is run through the historic Cape wine estates of Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Uitsig.

The course take the runners over part of the Constantia Valley Grape Run 2012 route and to quote one of the runners of that event; "there is no doubt you have the most scenic route in the country by a long way."

The course is slightly tougher that the Constantia Valley Grape Run and a true trail run, run all on trail and farm tracks; however the trail run is suitable for both seasoned trail runners and novices with the option of running the 11.5km race.

The 21km and 11.5km races are pre-entry only as numbers are limited, however you may enter the fun-run on the morning of the race.
